How To Make Avocado Garlic Butter, The Healthy, Creamy Condiment You Didn’t Know You Needed

Believe it or not, you can now make your own Avocado Garlic Butter, healthier alternative to butter, that will boost your health in many ways!
Butter is a cooking staple in almost every household, but as soon as you try this creamy condiment we are suggesting today, it will replace the regular, dairy butter for good!
It is a combination of avocados and garlic, two incredibly nutritious ingredients.
Garlic is one of the most potent immunity boosters, high in antioxidants, and a natural weapon against high cholesterol and blood pressure levels.
Additionally, avocados are rich in over 20 essential nutrients, including vitamin C, K, E, B5, B5, potassium, and folate, as well as small amounts of iron, zinc, magnesium, copper, manganese, iron, phosphorous, and vitamins A, B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin) and B3 (niacin).
These fruits will help you get the needed smooth and spreadable texture.
This time, you’ll need perfectly ripe avocados. When at the store, choose the ones that are soft to the touch when squeezed, but do not already have bruises or indents.
The recipe for the creamy avocado butter was developed by Fooddeco creator Colette Dike, when she was writing her fifth avocado-centric cookbook.
“I like it more than regular butter. Avocado has such a creamy texture and since I’m lactose intolerant myself, I thought why not make a butter out of it? It resulted in a super creamy garlic butter. My test-panel [was] super enthusiastic and even though it was the real butter.”
Dike explained that she loved it as a part of a healthy snack platter, on toast, or on warm naan bread.

Here is the recipe for Avocado Garlic Butter
Avocado Garlic Butter
- 2 ripe avocados, pit & skin removed
- 2 garlic cloves, grated
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp coconut oil, melted
- Small bunch of cilantro, chopped
- Sea salt, to taste
In a food processor, mix all the ingredients well, until you get a smooth mixture. To be sure that it is consistent, scrape down the sides as you go. Season with sea salt.
Put down a large piece of aluminum foil on the counter, and add a piece of plastic wrap on top of it.
Scoop the mixture onto the plastic wrap.
Start working it lengthwise, rolling it up. Roll the aluminum foil to get a small log of butter.
Leave the Avocado Garlic Butter in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours to set.
